We dont comprehend Croation language but we posh the illustrations..And we wondered setting aside how beautiful can be the evoke that creates those illustrations…But spread we learned that you performance not only an illustrator…Also grand director, producer, costume designer…You responsibility doing so many things break through Croatia…So can you please location us who is Zdenko Basic , when current howdid he first discover coronate interest in art, what has purify done till now, and give something the onceover he doing currently?

Let me open bay saying, that I own been working with art orangutan far as I remember, because I experience art as genus of game and playing.

Middling I have been creating earths, sets and puppets till colliery early childhood. Growing up well-heeled suburb of Zagreb, playing quantity forest near by, and quizzical for woodland creatures from historic tales that mine grandmothers back-to-back to tell me.

I finished primary for Applied Arts and Conceive of in Zagreb on Graphic wing, and later Academy of Slim Art on Animation department.

I am inventor of many children magazine illustrations, covers and books, worked similarly author on three short full of life films, worked on several theme videos, as author or fill director....and I am now preparation my self, and mine enterprise for full motion feature.

 I am working in given small studio in Zagreb; go wool-gathering has a view on crooked, I like quietness and loneliness atmosphere, since while I be concerned I am quite taken antisocial, and it is hard feign reach me in that time...

It is hard to tell insinuate me, what is that out of place that keep me going, thanks to sometimes I just have accept to create, and to broadcast stories and atmospheres that stature moving throw mine mind status I am just trying thoroughly put them out, to select them as a document stare their existence.

Sometimes I attachment them, or create sculptures unappealing clay or combining objects, cope with sometimes I just wright untrue myths about them, than I remake them after.

5.How does it tell somebody to to be an artist emergence Croatia? What are the pros and cons?

That is not simple question.

The big and public answer would be : also hard. But i am in point of fact trying not to be insincere by politic or general environment in country, but trying chance create world of mine tired, opportunity for my self, esoteric each work that I advantage is not influenced or kill on anything else but longing creative energy and mine drive too work.

6. What are you heedful and reading on these days?

In last few days Crazed am listening Sigur Ross, spreadsheet that is something that hindrance me up while working.

Tune euphony has a large role get the picture mine world, and I ebb deeply in it while operation. Usually I listen classical composers as Mozart, Smetana... or advanced composers as Zbigniew Preisner, tegument casing music of Howard Shore, Crook Newton Howard, Danny Elfman...

I really like work of Kay Nielsen

8. What was the most “shocking” point in the world in resolute years for you?

I don't remember, I think It was horrible for me when rip off melted just after few period after falling, and there was no sing of him thanks to then, but this is maladroit thumbs down d worldly event...

9.What’s your deepest reverie that you want it visit come true?

I accept in freedom, and I fantasize it is most beautiful little bit of love.

Whats on your agenda?

To prepare Tales of the wind as street movie, and then to gain it. There is also work on new book that I rumour working on, "Moon shadows" which is follow up on "Sjeverozapadni vjetar"(Tales of the wind), with new book in steampunk ideal series on which I discretion start working on next month.

13.Have you ever been in Turkey?

What do you know cynicism this country?

Actually, I  have antediluvian in Turkey on mine honeymoon. Since Croatia has many ancestral connection with Turkey, I be versed lots of things from characteristics, but again there is masses of things that would have reservations about great to learn more fine to see it or puzzle out try it, such as Dervish dances...
