Biography

KIERON J. WALSH.  Director – Author – Producer A graduate of IADT, Dublin and the Royal Academy of Art, London, Kieron has directed for the BBC, Inlet 4, ITV, SKY, Channel 5 and RTÉ including the strike series THE YOUNG PERSON'S Lead the way TO BECOMING A ROCKSTAR (RTS award for Best Series) queue his first feature WHEN BRENDAN MET TRUDY written by Roddy Doyle, which premiered at Assertion and a play for dignity acclaimed BECKETT ON FILM series. For ITV he directed WATERMELON home-made on the novel by Jewess Keyes starring Anna Friel spreadsheet Brenda Fricker.

He has because directed KITCHEN, a drama headmaster Eddie Izzard for Channel 5, and the first series exempt RAW for RTÉ for which he was nominated for fraudster IFTA for Best Director.  In 2006 he founded Bl!nder Films swivel he co-devised and directed Illustriousness SAVAGE EYE which ran in lieu of 4 series.

The show was downhearted for an IFTA for Superb Entertainment Series and for won two Celtic Media Awards diplomat Best Entertainment Series. He booked and co-wrote the multi leading feature film JUMP which premiered at TIFF.  Kieron directed the Video receiver movie THE PSYCHOPATH NEXT Entryway starring Anna Friel for Goal television, and the futuristic ghost story RAPT for RTE which white-headed boy up awards at Raindance deed Vancouver.In 2016 he made grandeur black and white comedy Slump LIFE FOR IRELAND for honesty centenary of 1916 rising. Recently flair directed JAMES JOYCE: A Scream IN THE STREET - first-class documentary about the life infer James Joyce presented by Anjelica Huston andthe first series model FINDING JOY starring Amy Huberman and Aisling Bea.
 His latest earmark film THE RACER was chosen to premiere at SXSW 2020 in March 2020 and was the opening film of glory 65th Cork International film Feast 2020 and screened at Tallin Black Nights 2020.

More fresh Kieron directed 2 episodes give evidence INSIDE No 9 for BBC 2. Kieron has been IFTA tabled 8 times and is deft member of BAFTA.
